CONTEST
This project provides academic evidence to inform the refresh of the UK’s CONTEST strategy. It provides a series of literature reviews on key CONTEST topics, led by Dr Sarah Marsden (St Andrews).
The reviews set out the evidence base on specific areas of policy and practice; assess the strength of the research; relate the research to contemporary policy and practice; identify gaps in the evidence base; and describe opportunities for future research. The research questions guiding the project are therefore:
- What is the evidence base on priority areas of counter-terrorism policy and practice?
- What are the strengths and weaknesses of the research?
- What are the implications of contemporary research for policy and practice?
- What are future priorities and opportunities for research?
